A Graduation Song  and a 25-Year Anniversay Song are in the works.

We can do a Valentine’s Day song, too.  But, we need to get rolling!  If you’d like a Valentine’s song, let us know no later than this Friday, January 20.  We can have a custom written and recorded song in time for the special day.

I am also at work in the final mixing of his recording of original songs, “Everything Is Great,” and you can sample some of that work here: “EIG Mixes 12-28-11.”

Hello:

I’m Working on a new song.  It will be a graduation present.  And, I am offering songs written and recorded by me with Annie Donahue and Jimmy Heffernan.  The first five orders in 2012, will get a 25% off discount.  Songs are currently being offered for anywhere from $250-$1000.  Every song is given full attention to detail with the aim to be the perfectly custom crafted work of art. Songs can vary in scope of “production.”  Songs can be simply produced with just a couple voices and guitar, and songs can be given the full band treatment with any variety of bass, drums, piano, mandolin, violin, etc.

We are donating a song to the Martin Luther King Jr. Child Development Center for their Wine Tasting and Silent Auction event tonight, October 14.

What is a “Custom Song” — a custom song is a song written on a subject provided by YOU!  It makes a great gift.  Suggested song topics would be for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation, retirment, family reunion, birth, memorial or any milestone family occasion.

WEDDING — Faye and Matthew had a song for their wedding.  Not looking for the sentimental love song (think Celine Dion), they wanted something more fun to express their personalities.  After sitting down for a meal and chatting with the fun couple, we zeroed in on the goal… a love song channeling a mix of Jack Black, Marvin Gaye and Flight of the Conchords.  The result is a fun love song with a lot of innuendo.  See the video above for the song presented with a photo collage of the couple.

BIRTHDAY — “Looking At The Grass From The Green Side” — A song to honor a husband and all his quirky sayings from Linda to Nick who keeps the humor, love and kindness as the medicine for health issues.

BIRTH — “Anna Giulia” — a song written to commemorate the birth of a daughter and capture the emotion, feelings and story of the new family.  Clark plans to dance to this Bossa Nova song with his daughter at her wedding.

ANNIVERSARY — “She Does” and “Crazy In Love” were both written to capture the emotion and feelings of love for couples celebrating a milestone anniversary.  Both were used as a surprise from husband to wife. [Click song title to view a video accompanied by the song.]

RETIREMENT — “She’s A Ripple” — honoring a career of a teacher, writer, thinker and activist carrying the torch for children and education.  It was played at her retirement banquet and met with a hush while it was played, and then a standing ovation to honor a woman of courage and conviction.

MEMORIAL — “Troubadour Of Hope” — written in memory of David M. Bailey who bravely fought brain cancer for 14 years before passing in 2010.

A custom song is a way to capture a moment — both the story and the emotion — and make it both a priceless moment and a timeless memory.  A song can be written for you and your loved ones for any occasion, just ask!
